What inthemarbles.com stores in your browser, and why. Effective July 6, 2026.
Cookies
inthemarbles.com sets no advertising, social media, or analytics cookies. The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary:
- Cloudflare — this site is served through Cloudflare, which sets a bot-protection cookie (
__cf_bm) to tell humans from automated traffic. It is required for the site to work and is not used for tracking or advertising. - Membership session — if you subscribe or sign in as a member, Ghost sets a session cookie to keep you signed in. It is strictly necessary and is removed when you sign out. If you never sign up, this cookie is never set.
Analytics
We measure site usage with a self-hosted Matomo instance. It is configured in cookieless mode, so analytics stores nothing in your browser. Analytics data never leaves our server and is never shared with or sold to anyone. We honor your browser's Do Not Track setting.
Subscriptions
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address you provide so we can send you posts. Transactional email is sent via Resend. Your email is never sold or shared, and you can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
Third parties
No third-party advertising, social, or tracking scripts load on this site. It uses system fonts — no Google Fonts or third-party CDNs. Content delivery and TLS are handled by Cloudflare.

If this policy changes, the effective date above is updated. Material changes are noted on this page.
